From the RectorWelcome! If you're looking for a welcoming and inclusive church that offers a close-knit worship experience without judgment, we invite you to Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Through the grace of Jesus Christ, the message of salvation calls us to welcome all who seek to encounter Him.
Whether you're visiting from another church, or joining us for the first time, you are warmly welcomed. If perhaps you're wrestling with your faith, you are warmly welcome here. And if you are a baptized Christian, regardless of denomination, you are invited to receive communion with our wonderful community at Emmanuel. The kindness and generosity shown to me and my family by our parishioners have been truly remarkable. |

Our Roots
A Long, Rich History...Whether you are visiting, recently moved here or have lived in the Sierra foothills for years, we invite you to make history at Emmanuel Episcopal Church. All of us at Emmanuel, whether young or old, are children of the ages seeking to know Christ and to make Christ known. Against a background of continuing change, we are engaged in the Christian mission of reconciling all people to God and one another in Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:18
All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us."
