​Meet Katherine

Katherine Schuessler received her philosophy degree with first class honors at the University of Sydney, and went on to study with Alan Torrance and N.T. Wright at the University of St Andrews Scotland. There she received her MPhil degree in Divinity under the supervision of Andrew Torrance, writing on Søren Kierkegaard’s theology of prayer. Katherine is a native of Grass Valley (she attended both Nevada Union and Sierra College), and is passionate about listening to people’s questions honestly, challenging someone's presuppositions compassionately, and teaching people how to think better.

​When she isn’t reading books or waxing philosophical on her latest thought, Katherine loves to be outdoors (handling horses, cycling, birding, hiking), spending time with friends, or cooking something tasty while listening to The Rolling Stones. ​
