Welcome to Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Grass Valley, California. We are so glad that the Lord has led you to us today. We hope that you will join us for one of our services or programs. Our in-person services are on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., with fellowship after each service. We offer a Thursday Healing Service at 10:00 a.m. As well, you may scroll down the page to watch this Sunday's service.

Emmanuel Episcopal Church is an active congregation which has been proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ since 1855 in Nevada County, CA. Welcome! If you're looking for a welcoming and inclusive church that offers a close-knit worship experience without judgment, we invite you to Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Through the grace of Jesus Christ, the message of salvation calls us to welcome all who seek to encounter Him.

Whether you're visiting from another church, or joining us for the first time, you are warmly welcomed. If perhaps you're wrestling with your faith, you are warmly welcome here. And if you are a baptized Christian, regardless of denomination, you are invited to receive communion with our wonderful community at Emmanuel.

ANNUAL GIVING PLEDGE for 2025

The co-chairs of the 2025 Stewardship Drive, Ray Gearheart and Al Lehmkuhl, at Emmanuel Church invite fellow parishioners to support the church's mission and financial goals for the coming year. They express gratitude for the blessings received, including the leadership of Fr. Seth, the music ministry of Thom Greathouse, and the active involvement of parish members. The church aims to meet regular expenses while fostering growth in programs and outreach, and maintaining historic buildings.
