What is Emmanuel U?

​Welcome to Emmanuel U! Emmanuel U exists to allow the local church to bring the fruits of the university to the layman for the purposes of their own enrichment. All too often the university's research and thought does not make it before the average person, yet one of the core purposes of academia is to benefit people in real ways. This includes not only access to excellent, trustworthy information, but the methods of study and critical self-reflection universities impart too. Emmanuel U aims to bridge this gap by providing an accessible undergraduate-styled class designed to meet people where they are at. 

Classes run weekly over the course of 6 weeks with a break in between, 90 minutes at a time. Students may read the assigned readings apportioned to each week, or just come for the lectures. See below for a list of past classes.
