2026 Annual Giving Pledge
170 Years – Celebrating our Rich History
|
October 15, 2025
Dear Fellow Parishioners: We are blessed with 170 years of a rich history, and continue to be blessed in so many ways at Emmanuel. Fr Seth, his talented clergy associates, and Lay staff inspire and teach us. Our Music Director, Thom Greathouse, enriches both our worship services and parish gatherings. We welcome newcomers. We support many active ministries both within and outside our church. We continue to live out our mission: “To Know Christ and to Make Him Known.” Our financial goals for 2026 are simply to be able to meet our regular church expenses totaling approximately $425,500, with additional funds to continue the growth of programs, outreach and maintaining our beautiful historic buildings. We are self-funded and do not receive funds from the Diocese. We also want to continue to repay our two Endowment Fund loans for the purchase and major renovation of the 240 Mill Street building. We are pleased to be able to rent a large portion of the building to Helping Hands to expand their good work in the community. The balance of the space is used by Thom and his choir, as well as for group meetings. Your generosity will help us meet these goals. The church expends about $8,182 per week to support our staff, facilities, programs, and services. We are asking everyone to prayerfully consider your level of giving. Every small increase will make a difference when we work together. Stewardship of our resources is one of the ways in which we worship God, who has given us everything. May our gifts be an act of praise to the Lord. Please return the mailed Stewardship 2026 form on or before Stewardship Sunday, October 26th. You may also complete the form online using the following link: Giving Form. If we can answer any questions, please do not hesitate to contact one of us.
